Ariana Gillis – Snowshoe in the woods, Potluck in the kitchen, Concert in the music room

Published on March 3, 2013 by

Well it couldn’t have been a more perfect day. The air was crisp and snowflakes danced in the sunshine while 30 hardy snowshoe enthusiasts started a trek through the woods, beside the rock caves, through the open meadow, and back up the snowy cliff to a delightful church-like potluck. Not only that, but we featured the paintings of Stayner artist John Anderson: http://jdapicker.fineartstudioonline.com/ and it was like a warm embrace to be surrounded by the beauty of his art. And this was all before the concert! We gathered in the music room for a soul filled night of music with Ariana Gillis, David Gillis and Ben Rollo. They sang and entertained and guided us through a delicious musical evening. It was a pleasure to be in that room. And it wrapped up a wonderful evening of community and sharing. Joyous.
Thanks to Denyse Morrissey, Terry Hart and Michael McLuhan for the photos!
