Oh how we love these two. It was March 2001 when we started this series with these beautiful people. It always feels comfy with them in the house, entertaining people with their songs and letting everyone kick back and relax. Wendell Ferguson and Katherine Wheatley. Fun!

There’s something to be said for experience, for taking the time to grow into your own skin. All sturdy things need time to root firmly into the ground to find their strength. Lynn Miles is one of Canada’s most accomplished singer/songwriters. With twelve albums to her credit, the winner of multiple Canadian Folk Music awards
It’s an evening of stories, photos, video and a full band of original songs by Georgian Bay native David Newland. The focus is the mysterious Arctic and the Northwest Passage – David has crossed it 3x and drives the Zodiac for Adventure Canada. It’s a touching, historical history of the magic of the Arctic.
Oh how we adore this musician. Special, everything. It was a delight to welcome him back with his newly released CD.
These champs not only drove 2 hours in a snowstorm after midnight, but they did a soundcheck and then strapped on snowshoes for a brisk -15 degree hike through the woods with a few dozen hardy souls. And performed a sweet matinee in the music room. Multi-instrumentalists who play refreshing compositions and some standards, too.
Fun times! Coco enchants with her music – the master of audience engagement, at ease on the stage, everything rich and bright and colourful and soulful, bringing everyone into the show and making friends and fans. Inspiring Sunday spirit sessions!
How does one sum up an indescribably brilliant musician? JP Cormier takes the stage with gusto, regaling a full house about a lifetime of learning and experiences and a love for playing. Something for everyone in the room, blessed. A man meant for music. (photo by Michael McLuhan)
Well that was the smoothest jazz ever to grace the Irish Mountain stage. A talented musician, artist, songwriter – Alfie Zappacosta is a performer’s performer. The audience took it all in, from the hits to the newest songs and it’s joyous.
